Instructions

1
Pour the plant milk into a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Warm gently — do not bring to a boil as this can destroy some beneficial compounds in the turmeric.
2
Add the ground turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper to the warm milk. The black pepper is essential — it contains piperine which increases turmeric absorption by up to 2000%.
3
Whisk continuously for 2–3 minutes until all spices are fully dissolved and the milk takes on a beautiful golden yellow colour with no lumps.
4
Remove from heat and stir in coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. The coconut oil adds creaminess and also helps your body absorb the fat-soluble curcumin in turmeric.
5
Pour into your favourite mug. For a frothy finish, blend for 20 seconds using a stick blender. Sip slowly and enjoy warm. Can also be served over ice as a cold drink.

💡 Pro Tip

Make a golden milk paste by mixing turmeric, ginger, pepper and coconut oil into a thick paste. Store it in the fridge and add one teaspoon to warm milk each morning for a quick daily dose.
